Problems with life?
Read and see if this poem can help you find some answers to your problems.
Sometimes, I sit just to think,
And fill a blank paper with ink.
Questions I have – lots to ask,
All I want is to unveil the mask.
As simple as it can be, let me begin,
With this question, “Why does the earth spin?”
But wait, I’m not going to answer that,
Let’s talk not about science but abstract.
Okay then, here is the first question,
Why is there always a quick end to fun?
Why can’t we always remain happy?
Why do things need to be scrappy?
I know not how valuable it is,
To have fun without toil but with ease.
What is the value of the sun without the rain?
What is happiness if you don’t know pain?
Why do we have to depart?
Why do people suddenly break your heart?
Why do relationships come to an end?
Why do we lose many a friend?
What is a reunion without a separation?
What is a heartbreak with a preparation?
You lose someone to meet someone new,
Many may leave but true friends stay with you.
Why don’t good things stay forever?
Where does God live, if he lived ever?
Why are some people dark and some fair?
Who has seen heaven to describe what’s there?
Without black, does white have any meaning?
Good things live in your heart – stop looking at the ceiling,
There’s no heaven, nor is there hell.
It is your state of mind; only that I can tell.
Why are there so many fights?
Why don’t we see during the night?
Why are we so afraid to die,
When we know that life is but a lie?
Peace is sometimes invisible like the star,
At times, it hides in the veil of war.
Death comes to us only once, eventually,
But we are cowardly, living death every day perpetually.
